Volkswagen Up! will be the cheapest car available in the Indian auto market and would be priced below the Polo in the sub five lakh mark. The prominent rivals of Up! will be the Maruti Suzuki vehicles which are admired for their reliability, great fuel efficiency and superb driving dynamics.

So if Volkswagen wants to make Up! a hit they need to get all these things right if they want to beat maruti suzuki.

Get On Road Price of Maruti Suzuki Swift

the sucess of this car will be contingent on its price, if its anything like the european edition of the up, it will be a disappointment, its really really small

Volkswagen is planning to manufacture approx 1 lakh vehicles in the very first year of its launch as India is a huge market of compact cars. The best part about the vehicle is, that company is planning to launch Volkswagen Up in three body styles; 2 door hatchback, a 4 door hatchback version and a 4 door wagon carrying longer wheelbase. The Volkswagen Up is a global small car and still it is nowhere present; but yes electric, hybrid, petrol and diesel concept Up's have been displayed.
