The Vento has an edge over the Fiesta in almost all departments – it has a design that accepts a boot much more gracefully, has classier interiors, presents a more solid feel to the driver and has the VW badge value. The Fiesta on the other hand is an easier drive around town especially in the diesel variant, and has a more refined petrol option. Young buyers may also be more attracted to the Fiesta’s “kinetic” interiors.

Hyundai is more for sedate driving and straight roads than twisties. Vento has better in gear figures than most car's. The difference between the two is because of taller gearing in the Verna to give it better mileage.

Volkswagen Vento is equipped with maximum features that are ideal for a sedan, we found some of them lacking in diesel variant. For instance, an important feature of Clutch dead pedal is missed in the new Volkswagen Vento. The car lacks fog lights and audio system in Trendline variant which could be a cause of concern for the Trendline buyers. The back seats could have been little more inclined for extra comfort. The car lacks steering mounted audio controls even in the highline variant. Also, the Aircon blower cools the car in really no time but it is slightly noisy.
