Infiniti’s first hybrid, the Infiniti M Hybrid, has entered the Guinness World Record Book for fastest accelerating full hybrid car. The test car was a standard production model and the record was set on August 23, 2011. The infiniti M Hybrid reached 62 mph in just 5.5 seconds which became the fastest time for a full hybrid. On average, the M Hybrid covered the standing quarter mile in 13.9031 seconds. During the run, the Infiniti Hybrid emits just 162g/km of CO2 and the gas consumed rated on the combined cycle was 29mpg. The Infiniti M Hybrid is powered with a powerful compact Lithium-ion battery pack, advanced 3.5-liter V6 engine which produces more than 350 horsepower. It has estimated fuel economy of 30 miles per gallon Highway.
