2012 Mahindra Xylo

2012 Mahindra Xylo will be launched on 8 February 2012.

The 2012 Xylo facelift will sport some fresh changes in terms of cosmetics and will wear new headlamps, grille, a new bonnet and new bumpers. However, the facelift version of the Xylo will feature the same 2.5-litre mEagle diesel engine and transmission, which powers the current version.

Toyota has already introduced the face-lifted version of its MPV, Toyota Innova at the 2012 Auto Expo and Maruti Suzuki will soon introduce its brand new MPV, the Ertiga in the Indian market. Looks like, the Mahindra Xylo will have stiff competition.

New mahindra xylo to be unveiled day after today whose release has been highly anticipated owing to the fact that its predecessor model received Best MPV of the year. There is a fierce rivalry amongst automobile companies in India since it is now slowly turning out to be one of the most thriving markets for automobiles in the world.

The front bumper of the car has been redesigned and so have been the bonnet and the headlamps. The grille has also been modified and the new grille that the designers have come up with is much more stylish than that of the previous one. Ergonomically there are two versions of engines the new 2012 Mahindra Xylo will be available in. There will be 2.2 L mEagle Turbo Diesel Common Rail engine which will promise a power of 112 bhp and the second engine will also be of 22 L but will give peak power of 95 bhp.

New Mahindra Xylo has launched at Rs 7.37 lakh. Now Xylo has five variants. The new Xylo D2 and new Xylo D4 priced at Rs 7.37 lakh and Rs 7.77 lakh respectively are powered by 95 bhp 2.5litres mDI engine.

I agree with you Codename that they have to work on its design and look little bit more although Mahindra Xylo looks cool but not so impressive and I wounder that how mahindra got the design and looks of XUV500!!!

Mahindra Xylo is one of the best MPV's of India.It got nice looks,stylish interior and adequate exterior looking and a powerful engine.People have shown a great craze towards it.

The popular Mahindra cars in India are Mahindra Logan, Mahindra Xylo, Mahindra Scorpio and Mahindra Bolero are the name of few only.
