Draw back of lowering the car with Wheel Offset

Since the new american style : STANCED is in action these days. You probably have seen cars with the tyres .....

Lightbulb Draw back of lowering the car with Wheel Offset

Since the new american style : STANCED is in action these days.

You probably have seen cars with the tyres coming out of the car's body and sometimes the wheel is tilted to an angle!

something like this



What are the drawbacks of having your car sitting this low on piece of rubber

well what you can expect just from looking at it...harsh ride, no suspension travel at all, catching the nose of the car on kerbs, potholes because its sitting so low..race suspension which has negative camber will make sure that the car is twitchy when theres a change in the gradient of the surface on which you are driving while also increasing tyre wear...!

also you loose alot of steering. theres alot of rubbing so handling is very limited!!

its just a craze now. ppl want to have the most stupid offsets, its a waste only good for a car that u would never drive.
